Orioles versus Yankees series

The Orioles have won the past two games against the Yankees. Friday night 4-3. Saturday night 11-3. Now they look to sweep the Yankees on ESPN at 8 PM.

A Little Bit of NBA Heat VS. Spurs.

I'm not a big fan of basketball I must admit. The finals this year Miami Heat versus the San Antonio Spurs. In my opinion this Spurs totally blew their chance to win it all. The trophy was in the building when the Spurs lost game six in the final minutes. Miami had forced a game seven and won at all again Back-to-back years.Two trophies

it all started yesterday as the X games expansion continues through Germany. Skateboarding was a big event yesterday the games continue throughout the weekend. I can't wait to watch more.

Quad rugby a.k.a. Murderball

I'm just starting to learn about the sport really but it is awesome. Last Saturday I watched this movie called "Murderball". An intense sport involving wheelchairs a ball and some crazy men that are so competitive you can feel it in the air. This explains it better and gives you a visual. Murderball Trailer My friend also plays locally I have to see him play sometime. .check out this book as well. Gimp Mark zupan. Losing and Winning

April 9, 2013
the Orioles have hit a rough patch but the season is just beginning for them. The Washington Capitals have been on an upswing just at the right time. Winning four straight before the playoffs.

Orioles game May 14

I went to an Orioles game May 14, 2013 with some great friends. Memories were made and old connections rekindled. Even though the team ended up losing that night it was so worth it. Food, friends and a ball game.

my perspective

A loss can be disguised as a win sometimes

Depending on how you chose to look at it

That was the case for me last night

Going back to the yard after so many years

Great plays at certain times

Double play there

A homer here by a player you wouldn't expect

Catch at the wall

New memories made

With friends and family

Good memories revisted from the past

Just being able to reconnect with people 

You haven't seen in months or even years is 

Priceless

A single baseball game in a long season 

That I will remember forever

Even if it was a loss with rain

Followed by tiredness

Every minute was worth it in the end

Live in the moment

Cherish the memories you will create in life

No matter how simple 

Even if they are not all happy

Ravens 2012 champions and Rebuilding

the ravens won super bowl 47 against the 49ers. It was a crazy game because the power went out at the Superdome. The score was 24 to 6 at the time of the outage. Ravens ended up coming out on top 34 – 31. Joe Flacco was named MVP of the Super Bowl. We lost players to other teams after the season games came to an end but we will be okay because we picked up other important players to fill the gaps that were left vacant.

Stanley Cup Finals

The Finals lasted 6 games. It was between the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks.. Boston was strong at the start of the series.. Going up 2-0 in the series but eventually falling in Game 6. When the Blackhawks scored 2 goals in 17 seconds. It was an exciting finish to a shortened season. Both teams played hard. It is the nature of the game to leave it all on the ice.
