I know it has been a while.... but I'm back I was busy with the end of school and now summer.
X games 16 was awesome Travis Pastrana earned two golds. Young skaters raised the bar Curren Caple and Pedro Barrios. The veterans still showed they owned the show. A good mix of young and old in all sports. Very exciting Nonstop action!

Riding the Waves
Christiaan Bailey on a wave letting the water hit him in the face. Enjoying every minute of being in the water. Christiaan is a surfer who is interested in helping everyone get on the water. He is paraplegic but of course that doesn't matter. Water is so freeing it doesn't matter if you have a disability or not. Christiann has a foundation called Ocean Healing where he helps disabled kids surf. Ocean healing also helps kids expand their horizons Allows them to do more activities besides surfing like horseback riding and zip lining. These kids feel good because they are a part of something fun and are staying active. For more information on Ocean healing check out http://www.oceanhealinggroup.org/

A crazy night for the O's

Orioles were up against the Boston Red Sox last night. I know what you are thinking another loss to add to the growing loss column. The Orioles apparently had a different mind set last because they scored a season high 12 runs against the Red Sox who are struggling a bit this year. Both teams combined for 9 home runs. Ty Wiggington had 2 home runs Markakis 1 Matt Wieters a 3 run homer. Luke Scott also homered. The team got their first series win of the year. Maybe last night was a sign for things to come. As the Orioles showed us some hope. They got thier bats swinging. Orioles still have a long way to go of course. Thier record is 6-18. Also they can't rely on the long ball to always get them out of trouble. Can the Orioles keep winning?
I guess we will have to wait and see. Final score 12-9.
