Orioles were up against the Boston Red Sox last night. I know what you are thinking another loss to add to the growing loss column. The Orioles apparently had a different mind set last because they scored a season high 12 runs against the Red Sox who are struggling a bit this year. Both teams combined for 9 home runs. Ty Wiggington had 2 home runs Markakis 1 Matt Wieters a 3 run homer. Luke Scott also homered. The team got their first series win of the year. Maybe last night was a sign for things to come. As the Orioles showed us some hope. They got thier bats swinging. Orioles still have a long way to go of course. Thier record is 6-18. Also they can't rely on the long ball to always get them out of trouble. Can the Orioles keep winning?
I guess we will have to wait and see. Final score 12-9.
